Enjoyable large market where you can get just about anything. Imaginative parking skills required. Photo taken from Le Miroir.

Rond-Point Agora
Art and Craft market (objets créés par l'artisan-même)
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays : 10am - 6pm

Mainly clothes and accessories. Also stand each of intricately decorated eggs and ornate candles in the shape of flowers. I visited on a Friday.
Place Sainte-Catherine
Daily market
Everyday : 7am - 5pm
This market is meant to be on every day but there are few regular stalls. The best day is the Wednesday organic market. In 2008, the city moved the organic market from place de la Monnaie to this location. However, a stall selling a large variety of potatoes and some onions, an oyster stand (pictured) and a cheese/charcuterie vendor also appear irregularly. Some days there are none.
Rue au Beurre Portraits
Art market - paintings and portraits
Everyday : 11am - 6pm
Location: between the Grand Place and the Bourse - the little street with the fountain.
Over winter I looked for this market on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday but it was no where to be seen... In late Spring, as the tourist season began, a portraitist and a characaturist appeared.
Place du Jeu de Balle Brocante
Flea market of secondhand items.
Everyday : 7am - 2pm
Location: quartier Les Marolles on rue Blaes between rue du Chevreuil and rue de l'Hectolitre.
This place is always popular. Lots of junk. Photo taken on a Tuesday. The Friday evening food market I have found advertised does not take place.

Sunday : 7am - 2pm
Location: Published as sited between la rue des Ménages et la rue des Fleuristes but it is actually lower under the overbridge to Gare du Midi.
I was expecting many more bikes than were present this day. Children's bike section out of view. Marché du Midi visible behind.
